If you haven’t already heard about it, Linux Outlaws is a linux podcast hosted by Fabian Scherschel and Dan Lynch. Not only is it a linux podcast it happens to be (in my admittedly slightly biased opinion - both hosts I count as good friends) the best linux podcast around!
Yesterday they released a whole 1 hour and 14 minute episode dedicated to the new user and helping them to get started with Linux, which only further proves their complete awesomeness! If you’re looking into using linux for the first time I recommend you give it a listen, not only do Fab and Dan give a good overview of new user friendly distros, they also give some good information on the whole background to linux and open source / free software culture.
