About Naxtr

The sole author here is me, Jackie Plage. I’ve been blogging for a number of years on my personal blog but have recently lost focus. In an attempt to gain that focus back, this blog was born with a more specific theme in mind.

The main focus of this blog is technology, open source, free culture, software and web applications and web development. Although I’m a big enthusiast of the open source ethos, my writing will likely reflect a mix of both open and closed software. I aim to concentrate mostly on the former as this will be my small way of contributing to the world of open source, however I’ll generally write about anything that strikes my interest.

Though self training in web development and a linux / open source enthusiast, I am by no means a guru. I’m more of an end user with a view to taking her skills further. The posts on Naxtr will reflect my journey and interests and are merely my own opinions.
